Inspiration

1. The Cake Bible by Rose Levy Beranbaum

If you are interested in baking cakes, this book will seriously change your life.  Rose goes into great depth to explain the whats and the whys about baking a cake. The woman actually wrote her masters thesis on how "Sifting Flour Affects the Quality of a Yellow Cake." I'm actually serious.  Go get a copy.

Rose also blogs- check it out if you're interested! http://www.realbakingwithrose.com/

2. Rose's Heavenly Cakes by Rose Levy Beranbaum

If you're reading my blog then you know that this book is very inspirational to me.  I started with The Cake Bible and of course loved it but I decided to go with this one for my challenge.

3. Cakewalk by Margaret Braun

I thought Cake Boss or Ace of Cakes was cool.  Then I came upon Cakewalk and nothing else can compare.  Margaret somehow makes her cakes look like intricate, delicate masterpieces.  Life dream: make a cake like Margaret Braun

Here's another one of her cakes, just to make you drool some more:

4. The Pink Cake Box

This is a cake store based out of New Jersey that I came upon one day and have fallen in love with.  Their cakes are beautiful.  Check out their site but beware- you may get lost in it!
